Lady Gaga Tribute Xmas Party Night

Yet another great Tribute Party Night at the Abington Hotel when we welcomed Shona McVey aka Lady Gaga Tribute.

Her “little monsters” were ra ra ra ready for a fantastic night and they got it! This Lady Gaga Tribute brought along everything you would expect outlandish costumes, great lighting and sound system but most importantly Gagatastic music. Our guests were here to enjoy themselves, and enjoy themselves they did – non stop dancing and non stop singing were the order of the night.

Neil Diamond Tribute Xmas Party Night

What a night!  From the minute Tom Scot aka Neil Diamond Tribute entered the room, he had our guests in the palm of his hand and dancing right from the start of the night to the very end. Tom was every inch just like Neil Diamond – sparkling shirt, black guitar and of course that special voice. Of course, all the much demanded hit songs were sung – “Forever in Blue Jeans”, “Sweet Caroline” and not forgetting much flag waving to “America”. I don’t think it will be too long before we will be saying “Hello, Again, Hello” to Tom aka Neil Diamond.

My thanks goes to all the hard working teachers, staff, pupils and mums and dads of the boys and girls of Abington Primary & Crawfordjohn Primary.

Abington gets mention in STV

Well what can I say about the weather we had in Abington Village, South Lanarkshire today? It was horrendous – the rain just didn’t stop. Unfortunately, the severity of the weather caused a huge amount of overrunning water from the M74 Motorway to run down into a neighbouring field and causing a burn to back up and flooded the Abington Primary School. I think the pupils really enjoyed all the excitement as there were at least 3 fire engines on site pumping out all the water. To read the full report have a look at the STV Link.
